We are committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors, clients, and the tenants of our clients. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you ("Personal Information").

  • From PropSWOT Clients (Property Managers): Name, business email, EIN, and billing information.
  • From Tenants (via Property Manager Partners): Name, physical address, and mobile phone number provided in connection with a maintenance request.
  • Usage Data: IP address, browser type, and interactions with our platform or embedded links.

2. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect information directly from you when you use our site or communicate with us. For tenants, we receive information from your Property Manager (our Client) or through your direct interaction with our white-labeled coordination tools (e.g., via a resident portal or recorded phone call).

3. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

We use your information to:

  • Coordinate and fulfill maintenance requests.
  • Send transactional SMS updates regarding repair status.
  • Verify identity and prevent fraud.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements (including A2P 10DLC registration).

4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We share information with third-party service providers (such as repair contractors) only as necessary to perform maintenance services.

SMS COMPLIANCE & DATA PRIVACY: PropSWOT does not sell or share SMS opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. SMS TERMS & CONSENT

By providing your phone number to your Property Manager or directly to our coordination team, you may be opted-in to receive transactional text messages regarding your maintenance request.

Consent

Consent is obtained directly from the tenant via a clear opt-in on the resident portal or via express verbal consent during a recorded intake call.

Opt-Out

You may cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number sending the message. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on the status of your repair.

6. DATA SECURITY & TRANSFERS

We implement industry-standard encryption and security controls to protect your data. As we are located in the USA, your information is processed in the United States.
